1918 -2018

Felix Smith, no doubt,  lead a long and full life. I was fortunate that I had the honor and pleasure of working with Felix at South Pacific Island Airways. When the opportunity came up to fly as a Flight Engineer on the Boeing 707, I was interviewed by Felix who was the Director of Flight Operations. That was 1984. SPIA continued for several more years before closing its doors.  Felix was always recognized as a special individual... an educator as well as a friend.
